# Virals: West Ham reportedly ‘keeping an eye’ on Corentin Tolisso

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/08/11/virals-west-ham-reportedly-make-firm-martin-braithwaite-offer/) are believed to be ‘keeping an eye’ on Bayern Munich midfielder [Corentin Tolisso](https://readwestham.com/2021/08/03/virals-west-ham-interested-in-bayern-munich-midfielder-corentin-tolisso/) this summer.

The Hammers have been [linked](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/west-ham-lurking-bayern-munich-options-corentin-tolisso-transfer) with the Frenchman previously and despite returning to train in Bavaria, a move could still be on the cards.

Juventus, Arsenal and Manchester United are all [credited with admiration](https://bayernstrikes.com/2021/08/10/bayern-munich-west-ham-join-race-corentin-tolisso/) in the 27-year-old and could all make their interest known in the coming weeks.

That’s according to reputable French outlet [L’Equipe](https://sportwitness.co.uk/west-ham-appreciate-profile-player-hammers-move-intriguing-signing/lequipe.fr) (via Sport Witness), as cited by [Louis (West Ham Central)](https://twitter.com/central_louis/status/1425379361943953414) on Twitter.

The report claims Bayern will likely sanction the sale of the [27-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/corentin-tolisso/nationalmannschaft/spieler/190393/verein_id/3377) ace should bids of around £8million be forthcoming.

Despite missing [23 games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/corentin-tolisso/verletzungen/spieler/190393) last season through injury and illness, Tolisso still managed [16 outings](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/corentin-tolisso/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/190393) in a successful Bundesliga campaign.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Signing a player of the [pedigree of the Frenchman](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/corentin-tolisso/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/190393) would certainly improve the options at David Moyes’ disposal.

Having lifted the World Cup, UEFA Champions League and [four German titles](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/corentin-tolisso/erfolge/spieler/190393) in recent years, the addition will certainly enhance the midfield department.

Immensely [versatile](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/corentin-tolisso/leistungsdaten/spieler/190393) and with a brimming trophy cabinet – wretched injury record aside – this would be a no brainer for the Irons at £8million.
