West Ham are believed to be ‘seriously considering’ a summer swoop for Gent striker Roman Yaremchuk.
As Hammers boss David Moyes welcomes a large proportion of the first-team back to pre-season training, the requirement for an additional attacking option has never been more apparent.
The 25-year-old impressed at Euro 2020 leading the line for Ukraine and could present an affordable option for the Irons.
That’s according to a report from Eurosport, as cited by Westham_hub on Twitter.

Yaremchuk scored twice in the European Championships and registered an assist before the Eastern European nation bowed out against England.
Described as ‘very tidy’ by former Premier League forward Daniel Sturridge, during 2020/21, the Ukrainian ace netted 21 goals and added another seven assists in 36 appearances.

Valued at £13.5million and under contract in Belgium until 2025 (Transfermarkt), signing the powerful striker would require a large outlay from the London Stadium budget.
Previously mooted to hold a €25-30million asking price, the Hammers would still be landing somewhat of a bargain for a high-quality goalscorer.
Albeit predominantly a central striker with excellent hold-up play, Yaremchuk is capable of playing in a variety of attacking positions, making the 6’2 star an ideal candidate to supplement Michail Antonio.
