Signing Demiral would certainly resolve any defensive uncertainty in the Irons [squad](https://www.whufc.com/teams/first-team/squad).

A high-quality operator, the Turkish ace has been [touted](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/euro-transfer-gossip-liverpool-alexander-isak-replace-firmino-klopp-mainz-bundesliga) as a star of the future, one West Ham would be wise to capture at the given opportunity.

Valued at £25million and under contract at the Allianz until 2024 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.com/merih-demiral/marktwertverlauf/spieler/340879)), having previously [linked](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/tottenham-liverpool-suitors-merih-demiral-juventus-transfer) with the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham, either the Hammers or Everton would be landing a shrewd deal.
