# After 90: Manuel Lanzini gets married in Gibraltar

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/06/10/gabriel-agbonlahor-urges-west-ham-to-sign-chris-wood-this-summer/) midfielder [Manuel Lanzini](https://readwestham.com/2021/06/08/virals-west-ham-unwilling-to-allow-midfielder-manuel-lanzini-to-leave/) has married his long-term girlfriend Jennifer Reina in Gibraltar this week.

The [Argentina international](https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2019/august/21-august/manuel-lanzini-called-argentina-internationals#:~:text=Manuel%20Lanzini%20has%20been%20called,San%20Antonio%20on%2010%20September.) began the summer break in style by marrying his fellow Argentinian partner on the Rock.

Lanzini posted a picture to his official [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/manulanzini/) account of the pair, an image that was cited by [From The Anvil – West Ham](https://twitter.com/FromTheAnvilWHU/status/1403064655438749696) on Twitter last night wishing the pair many congratulations.

Although the 28-year-old may have secured his long-term future off the field, it [remains to be seen](https://www.football.london/west-ham-united-fc/transfer-news/lanzini-psg-transfer-west-ham-20261606) where the attacking midfielder’s playing career may lie.

Recent [reports](https://www.footballinsider247.com/sources-lanzini-wants-to-quit-west-ham-as-giants-offer-revealed/) have claimed Lanzini wants to leave the Hammers and return to Argentina – with former club River Plate the most likely destination.

Despite previously playing an integral role for the Irons, the [five-cap ace](https://readwestham.com/e) struggled to hold down a place in David Moyes’ side in 2020/21 – making just [24 appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manuel-lanzini/leistungsdaten/spieler/135853) across all competitions, scoring once and registering three assists.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Many congratulations first and foremost to the happy couple.

Perhaps the biggest question for the newlyweds would be, where will they be living come to the end of the summer?

Having lost his place to a [reinvigorated](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/jesse-lingard-transfer-latest-big-clubs-interested) Jesse Lingard, as things stand Lanzini may have a future at the London Stadium without the loan star.

However, any signing of a similar ilk will surely see the Argentinian bid a fond farewell to West Ham.
