# Virals: Felipe Anderson drives past Brazilian beach after loan spell

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/06/09/west-ham-accelerate-pursuit-of-manchester-united-star-jesse-lingard/) attacking midfielder [Felipe Anderson](https://readwestham.com/2021/03/05/west-ham-loanee-felipe-anderson-pictured-back-in-london/) has returned to his native Brazil on holiday following a loan spell at FC Porto.

The 28-year-old ended the 2020/21 campaign in Portugal having made just [12 appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/felipe-anderson/leistungsdaten/spieler/159372) in all competitions – contributing just one assist.

Prior to joining the Liga NOS side for the season, Anderson had [scored once and registered two assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/felipe-anderson/leistungsdaten/spieler/159372) in three Carabao Cup outings.

Ahead of a return to East London for pre-season training after FC Porto rejected the opportunity to strike a permanent deal, Anderson has headed back to South America.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Albeit difficult to imagine landing a major fee given the ace’s struggles last term, Anderson still holds a market value of £9million ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/felipe-anderson/marktwertverlauf/spieler/159372)) – a fee David Moyes would likely put to excellent use.

Clearly talented, the Brazilian has no doubt [lost his way](https://onefootball.com/en/news/felipe-anderson-discusses-his-personal-struggles-at-west-ham-28359088) in recent times and a move could be the best result for both parties.
