# Virals: Jesse Lingard reportedly decides on West Ham future

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/06/07/kevin-phillips-believes-david-moyes-will-remain-at-west-ham/) loan ace [Jesse Lingard](https://readwestham.com/2021/06/06/matthew-upson-urges-west-ham-to-go-all-out-for-jesse-lingard/) has reportedly come to a decision regarding where his future lies.

After arriving in east London on loan in February from Manchester United, the 28-year-old made a huge impact with the Hammers – scoring [nine goals and assisting five others](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jesse-lingard/leistungsdaten/spieler/141660) in the Premier League.

That form led to an England recall in March and Irons’ boss David Moyes [confirming](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/west-ham-transfer-news-jesse-lingard-man-utd-david-moyes-hope-b935221.html) the club would be interested in making the move permanent over the summer.

Now, according to a report from [Claret & Hugh](https://www.claretandhugh.info/lingard-keeps-eye-on-moyes-irons-situation/), as cited by [West Ham News & Views](https://twitter.com/WestHamViews_/status/1401135672967188480) on Twitter, the attacking midfielder has come to a decision.

Both player and club are believed to want to make the deal a reality – as Moyes plans the Irons squad for life with the [additional workload](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/west-ham-leicester-city-europa-league-qualify-b936775.html) of Europa League football.

Described by Declan Rice as [‘one of the best players in the league’](https://weallfollowunited.com/2021/03/31/declan-rice-heaps-the-praise-on-manchester-united-loanee-jesse-lingard/) during his hot streak whilst on loan at the London Stadium, the [29-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jesse-lingard/nationalmannschaft/spieler/141660/verein_id/3299) England man would likely cost [around £30million](https://www.90min.com/posts/manchester-united-set-asking-jesse-lingard-asking-price) this summer.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Given how [impressive](https://www.sofascore.com/player/jesse-lingard/205508) Lingard was during his loan spell – this deal is surely a no brainer for all parties.

Having been [cast aside](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jesse-lingard/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/141660/saison/2020/wettbewerb/GB1) for the entire first half of the campaign, the Warrington-born ace arrived at West Ham with plenty to prove and did exactly that.

Unikey to become a regular at Old Trafford and already with a rapport at the Hammers, Moyes and co would be delighted to see this deal over the line.
