# Virals: West Ham ‘intensifying’ interest in Arnaut Danjuma

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/05/26/chris-sutton-hails-declan-rice-as-among-best-in-the-premier-league/) have been named among a number of teams stepping up interest in AFC Bournemouth forward Arnaut Danjuma.

This comes as [David Moyes](https://readwestham.com/2021/05/25/glenn-hoddle-believes-david-moyes-deserves-more-credit-for-this-season/) begins to prepare for the additional workload brought about by [Europa League qualification](https://www.premierleague.com/tables), with strengthening the squad a priority at the London Stadium this summer.

Previously [touted with an interest](https://www.goal.com/en/news/danjuma-ajax-interest-links-southampton-west-ham/b2b7e6t64aqd1skq3ifx4bco4) in the 24-year-old, the Hammers have now been joined by Everton and Wolves in their pursuit.

That’s according to a report from [Football League World](https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/sources-everton-wolves-west-ham-amongst-clubs-stepping-up-interest-in-bournemouths-arnaut-danjuma/), as cited by [West Ham News & Views](https://twitter.com/WestHamViews_/status/1397194516558487555) on Twitter.

Those interested in the winger are said to be ‘intensifying’ their efforts after Bournemouth were eliminated from the Championship play-offs last weekend – despite [Danjuma scoring](https://www.skysports.com/bournemouth-results) in both legs.

This season the [twice capped](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/arnaut-danjuma/nationalmannschaft/spieler/355861/verein_id/3379) Dutch international has scored [17 goals and registered eight assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/arnaut-danjuma/leistungsdaten/spieler/355861) in 37 appearances – earning a [7.17 Sofascore rating](https://www.sofascore.com/player/arnaut-danjuma/827064) in 33 outings.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Signing Danjuma would be a superb piece of business this summer from the Hammers.

Valued at £10.8million and under contract until 2024 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/arnaut-danjuma/marktwertverlauf/spieler/355861)), the versatile forward would likely be an expensive deal for the east Londoners.

However, the Dutchman certainly possesses an array of [attacking attributes](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/323625/Show/Arnaut-Danjuma-Groeneveld) that would excite Moyes no end.

Albeit the Irons are well stocked in the attacking department – with the likes of Said Benrahma, Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen already in place, Danjuma can [operate in so many positions](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/arnaut-danjuma/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/355861) the signing would remain a no-brainer.
