# Virals: West Ham team up with Iron maiden for kit collaboration

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/04/16/alex-mcleish-says-opponents-would-rather-face-jarrod-bowen/) have teamed up with rock band Iron Maiden to release a new away kit and training range.

The link comes as frontman [Steve Harris is a famous Hammer](https://www.theguardian.com/music/2019/nov/29/run-for-the-balls-west-ham-team-up-with-iron-maiden-for-new-kit), who famously brandishes the club crest on his guitar.

Now, the band’s name appears on the club’s new away shirt as worn by forward, [Said Benrahma](https://readwestham.com/2021/03/31/virals-said-benrahma-names-best-opponents-from-this-season/) in the promotions.

It’s not yet clear whether the kit will become match worn but it is available for sale on both the band’s website as well as the [club’s official site](https://www.officialwesthamstore.com/).

This isn’t the first time the two have teamed up, with another [kit released](https://www.theguardian.com/music/2019/nov/29/run-for-the-balls-west-ham-team-up-with-iron-maiden-for-new-kit) back in 2019.

The Hammers will likely be releasing their kits for the 2021/22 campaign in the coming weeks, perhaps with a special [UEFA Champions League edition](https://www.premierleague.com/tables) in the pipeline.
