# West Ham target Abdallah Sima reveals Sadio Mane inspiration

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/02/19/youssef-en-nesyri-summer-transfer-hint-west-ham/) are almost nailed on to delve into the transfer market for a striker in the summer and[recently reported](https://sport.ceskatelevize.cz/clanek/fotbal/ze-simy-jsem-nadsenej-mohl-by-prijit-do-west-hamu-rika-soucek-zajem-bayernu-pry-neresi/5fd7eba23d136f1e23e22452)target [Abdallah Sima](https://readwestham.com/2021/02/03/west-ham-could-sign-abdallah-sima-in-summer/)could be amongst the contenders.

The 19-year-old Slavia Prague sensation has spoken about his [breakthrough season](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/abdallah-sima/leistungsdaten/spieler/776798/plus/0?saison=ges)in the Czech Republic that has attracted the interest of the Hammers as well as [Arsenal and Juventus](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/il-paragone-con-henry-l-idolo-mane-chi-e-sima-l-ultima-idea-di-j-36703).

Sima has helped fire Prague[clear at the top](https://www.soccerstats.com/latest.asp?league=czechrepublic)of the Fortuna Liga with [11 goals and four assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/abdallah-sima/leistungsdaten/spieler/776798) this season and has already [drawn comparisons](https://www.goal.com/en-ae/news/senegalese-henry-slavia-prague-sensation-sima-arsenal-links/1kn0oln7hf7td1o9zeqt676scf)to [Premier League legend](https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/thierry-henry-profile-arsenal-premier-league-barcelona-legend-champions-league) Thierry Henry.

However, Sima has spoken to [Wiw Sport](https://wiwsport.com/2021/02/17/le-senegal-son-idole-sadio-mane-son-arrivee-en-tchequie-abdallah-sima-a-coeur-ouvert/) and has revealed his inspiration comes from a Senegalese compatriot: ”I will say that of Sadio Mane. He is a reference for everyone.”

The teenager who is valued at [£7.2m by Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/abdallah-sima/marktwertverlauf/spieler/776798) wasn’t short on confidence when explaining his style: ”I can’t say I’m a complex forward but I like running onto crosses and that’s why I score so many goals with both head and feet.”

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

If any club were in prime position to sign a star from Slavia Prague it’s West Ham.

Ranked amongst the[50 for the future](https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/0265-113c77c33b88-3dda4706173e-1000--ones-to-watch-for-2021/) by UEFA, Sima would be a major coup for the Hammers and David Moyes should be doing everything possible to link the Senegal ace back up with [Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/oct/02/west-ham-sign-vladimir-coufal-from-slavia-prague-5m-transfer-news).

If Sima came close to replicating [Mane’s Premier League career](https://www.premierleague.com/players/6519/Sadio-Man%C3%A9/overview), the Irons would have a high-quality player on their hands.
