# West Ham fans discuss possible Youseff En-Nesyri boost

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/02/19/west-ham-target-abdallah-sima-reveals-sadio-mane-inspiration/) were given a potential boost in the pursuit of Sevilla striker [Youssef En-Nesyri](https://readwestham.com/2021/02/19/youssef-en-nesyri-summer-transfer-hint-west-ham/)this week when reputable club insider [ExWHUemployee](https://twitter.com/ExWHUemployee) told the [West Ham Way](https://www.patreon.com/thewesthamway)podcast that the La Liga side were already lining up a replacement.

The Hammers reportedly saw an initial[£22m bid rebuffed](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9175189/West-Ham-not-interested-raising-22m-offer-Sevillas-Youssef-En-Nesyri.html) in January and are expected to reignite their interest at the end of the season.

En-Nesryi has scored [17 goals this season](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/youssef-en-nesyri/leistungsdaten/spieler/433049) in all competitions, including four Champions League strikes to help [Sevilla qualify](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2021/02/17/sevilla-vs-borussia-dortmund-champions-league-live-score-latest/) from the group stages.

Reacting to the claims on[social media](https://twitter.com/JH_Journalism/status/1362529815455289346), the Irons faithful have been quick to give their opinions on whether the 23-year-old Moroccan is the man for the job at the London Stadium.
