# West Ham fans over the moon as permanent Said Benrahma deal is confirmed

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/01/29/west-ham-agree-deal-to-sign-jesse-lingard-on-loan/) confirmed the permanent transfer of [Said Benrhama](https://readwestham.com/2021/01/28/david-moyes-performs-west-ham-u-turn-on-said-benrahma-opinion/) and the Irons faithful have been reacting to the news in their droves.

The 25-year-old “magician” had been expected to sign permanently in the summer after [initially joining on loan](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/oct/16/west-ham-said-benrahma-brentford-loan) at the start of the season, but the Hammers have made the deal permanent at this juncture in order to [free up a domestic loan signing](https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/man-united-transfers-jesse-lingard-19723787) berth.

The Algerian has [proved a hit in east London](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/said-benrahma/leistungsdaten/spieler/290532) since his arrival and his quick feet have paved the way for many a West Ham attack.

After David Moyes’ [initial misgivings](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/west-ham-david-moyes-said-benrahma-premier-league-b538970.html) over the talented attacker, the manager has recently [placed a greater level of trust](https://www.football.london/west-ham-united-fc/news/moyes-west-ham-press-conference-19692520) in the mercurial talent.

These happy Hammers have reacted with glee to the official confirmation of Benrahma’s permanent arrival on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/WestHam/status/1355085779723120641)…
