# West Ham fans excited about Hwang Hee-chan transfer links

Plenty of [West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/01/25/west-ham-fans-excited-transfer-links-odsonne-edouard/) fans have been reacting to links with RB Leipzig forward Hwang Hee-chan from reputable German publication [Bild](https://www.bild.de/bild-plus/sport/fussball/fussball/rb-leipzig-blitz-wechsel-diese-woche-leipzig-star-vor-england-leihe-75047816,view=conversionToLogin.bild.html).

[David Moyes](https://readwestham.com/2021/01/21/david-moyes-should-look-to-mikel-oyarzabal-for-west-ham-to-push-on/) is in the market for a striker this month following the recent [departure of Sebastien Haller](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55576847) to Ajax.

The South Korean only signed for the Bundesliga club in the summer from Red Bull Salzburg but the 24-year-old has struggled to have the desired impact in Germany, [scoring just once](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/hee-chan-hwang/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/292246/verein/23826) in his first nine appearances.

With RB Leipzig reportedly willing to listen to loan offers for the [hard-working forward](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/262854/Show/Hee-Chan-Hwang), the Hammers have been billed as potential suitors.

Plenty of the Irons’ faithful have been aptly bullish over the links with the “exciting” forward [nicknamed ‘The Bull’](https://www.tellerreport.com/sports/2020-07-09-%22domestic-bull-hwang-hee-chan--came---%22-leipzig-fervent-welcome.B1Hyw89EJv.html).
