# West Ham fans split on transfer links with Henry Onyekuru

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/01/20/west-ham-fans-praise-jarrod-bowen-goals-statistic/) have been credited with an interest in Monaco winger [Henry Onyekuru](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/everton-fc-news/onyekuru-toffees-koeman-great-business/) and many of the Irons faithful have had their say on the rumour.

The 23-year-old is also attracting interest from Turkish giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, according to the report from [Sabah](https://www.sabah.com.tr/spor/futbol/2021/01/20/son-dakika-fenerbahceden-henry-onyekuru-operasyonu-galatasaray-uzun-suredir-pesindeydi-sabah-ozel?paging=5). He may be allowed to leave on loan this month as he struggles to find regular game-time in France, making [just four appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/henry-onyekuru/leistungsdaten/spieler/380415) in Ligue 1.

The report also claimed that Monaco would be willing to accept a loan bid of €1.5m (£1.3m) with a €5.5m (£4.8m) option to buy.

Predominantly a left winger, the Nigerian was on the books of Premier League club [Everton for two years](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/africa/55529830), but he [failed to make a first team breakthrough](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/henry-onyekuru/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/380415) in that time.

With West Ham manager [David Moyes](https://readwestham.com/2021/01/19/david-moyes-strong-chance-of-no-new-signings-january-transfers/) already busy in the market trying to sign a forward, Onyekuru is the latest in a [long line of potential suitors](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1386532/West-Ham-transfer-news-Giovanni-Simeone-Alassane-Plea-Youssef-En-Nesyri-Boulaye-Dia), although his [track record](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/henry-onyekuru/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/380415) and favoured position would suggest it is an unlikely deal.

These West Ham fans have given their thoughts on the potential signing of the ex-Everton man…
