# Fans unconvinced by Youssef En-Nesyri transfer links

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/01/18/kevin-campbell-eddie-nketiah-west-ham-good-opportunity/)‘s pursuit of a striker has seen Sevilla’s [Youssef En-Nesyri](https://readwestham.com/2021/01/18/sevilla-reject-irons-transfer-bid-youssef-en-nesyri-talks-ongoing/) named as the latest in a long line of potential suitors.

[The Athletic](https://theathletic.com/2327390/2021/01/18/haaland-ozil-football-soccer/?source=emp_shared_article) reported that the Hammers had a bid of €30m (£26.7m) rejected for the 23-year-old, although the club remain keen on making the deal happen.

With a Europa League medal already to his name, En-Nesyri has gone from strength to strength this season and is among the [leading scorers in La Liga](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/spanish-la-liga/top-scorers) – just three behind a certain Lionel Messi.

Despite keeping such illustrious company and with the proviso that West Ham are in desperate need of a centre-forward addition, the Irons faithful aren’t universally sold on the [Moroccan’s credentials](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/youssef-en-nesyri/profil/spieler/433049) and have reacted accordingly.
