# West Ham fans share the love as Robert Snodgrass seems to confirm his exit

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/01/06/west-ham-fans-delighted-adam-hlozek-transfer-links/) winger [Robert Snodgrass](https://readwestham.com/2021/01/06/robert-snodgrass-west-brom-transfer-interest-allardyce/) has seemingly all but confirmed his departure from the club on Wednesday with a candid and emotional response to a video on Twitter.

The 33-year-old is [wanted by former Hammers boss Sam Allardyce](https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/2021/01/05/west-brom-targeting-robert-snodgrass-loan/) at West Brom and the popular Scotsman [seems to have played his last game](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12180790/robert-snodgrass-west-brom-in-advanced-talks-to-sign-west-ham-winger) for the Irons.

> Twitter: Last thing I needed to see at this time ![😢](https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/13.0.1/svg/1f622.svg)![🤦🏻‍♂️](https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/13.0.1/svg/1f926-1f3fb-200d-2642-fe0f.svg) https://t.co/Iksvlw34CQ (@robsnodgrass7)

Since his [arrival from Hull City](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38775507) in 2017, Snodgrass has been a loyal servant to the Irons, making [85 appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/robert-snodgrass/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/22614) in that time and contributing with 11 goals and 17 assists.

However, with the 2020 signings of Jarrod Bowen and Said Benrhama, the ex-Scotland international has seen his [game-time plummet](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/robert-snodgrass/leistungsdaten/spieler/22614) and as such is open to an east London departure.

Many Hammers fans have been reacting to his tweet and there is plenty of affection for the ‘absolute star’ among the well-wishers…
