# Quiz: The 12 West Ham goals of Christmas – Name the Boxing Day scorers

For many, Boxing Day is the best day in the football calendar; and down the years, [West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2020/12/21/west-ham-lead-transfer-race-for-reims-boulaye-dia/) have played their part in some classic Christmas encounters.

This year, the Hammers will miss the traditional festive feast of football as [David Moyes](https://readwestham.com/2020/12/21/west-ham-predicted-xi-chelsea-away/)‘ side welcome Brighton to the London Stadium tomorrow rather than today.

Having been embroiled in a relegation dogfight [for much of last season](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/west-ham-united/spielplan/verein/379/plus/0?saison_id=2019), including during the hectic Christmas schedule, Moyes can be more optimistic heading into the second half of this campaign as the Irons [look up instead of down](https://www.premierleague.com/tables) this time.

With [astute summer signings](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/west-ham-united/transfers/verein/379) and an [early tweak of formation](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/west-ham-united/spielplan/verein/379/plus/0?saison_id=2020), West Ham have made a bright start to the 2020/21 campaign and will hope for a strong end to the year to double down on their position.

We’ve set you a quiz to test your knowledge of West Ham goalscorers in previous Christmas clashes, so have a go and see how many you can get right…
