# West Ham Fans Unconvinced By Christian Eriksen Transfer Rumours

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2020/12/08/robin-koch-ruled-out-of-leeds-west-ham-clash/) have been linked with a shock move for Inter Milan creative midfielder [Christan Eriksen](https://readwestham.com/2020/12/08/west-ham-named-as-potential-suitors-for-christian-eriksen/) as the Dane looks to force a way out of Inter Milan.

The report from [Eurosport](https://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/transfers/2020-2021/west-ham-target-christian-eriksen-anthony-martial-could-leave-man-utd-newcastle-want-phil-jones_sto8023381/story.shtml) suggested that the Hammers could be in line to offer Eriksen a lifeline in January after his switch to Italy from Tottenham has failed to work out thus far.

Officials at the Serie A club are [reportedly](https://www.goal.com/en/news/eriksen-can-leave-in-january-inter-ceo-marotta-confirms/1vxh4kuiv9jjq1stb4x9tm1j3f) willing to grant the 28-year-old’s wish and allow him to leave just [months after he arrived](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11860/11919386/christian-eriksen-inter-milan-sign-tottenham-midfielder-on-permanent-deal) at the San Siro.

Having [scored 69 goals and set up another 89](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/christian-eriksen/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/69633) for Tottenham, Eriksen is [yet to contribute either a goal or an assist](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/christian-eriksen/leistungsdaten/spieler/69633) in 10 appearances this season.

Despite being a [proven Premier League performer](https://www.premierleague.com/players/4845/Christian-Eriksen/overview), these Irons fans are less than enamored with the links to the Danish playmaker. Indeed, one supporter labelled him “a Sullivan signing” in an unsubtle dig at the club’s [much-maligned co-owner](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8763729/West-Ham-woe-owner-David-Sullivan-says-guarantee-making-new-signings.html).

> Twitter: @COYIrons\_com No. Not good enough for Spuds why would he be good enough for Hammers? Not more rejects please (@ColinSheridan17)

> Twitter: @COYIrons\_com Not a moyes player. Bit shocked he’s only 28 though. Had him at 30/31. Would want stupid money too. R… https://t.co/G4v2MgWUYZ (@DaveBurton11)

> Twitter: @COYIrons\_com He’s too slow, doesn’t fit the system. Also don’t we have enough attacking midfielders? (@Jackhumanoid)

> Twitter: @COYIrons\_com If ever there was a Sullivan signing. We’ve got glaring holes in the squad but not one that’s filled by Eriksen. (@ibeaumont)

> Twitter: @COYIrons\_com Bad move, don’t need him. Spurs had his best years! (@rugbyhammer)

> Twitter: @COYIrons\_com No thanks, quality player but doesn’t fit the system (@AAndyhammer92)
