# Insider Claims The End Is Near For West Ham Duo Haller And Anderson

Reliable [West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2020/12/08/paul-robinson-claims-west-ham-seeking-aaron-cresswell-successor/) insider [Claret & Hugh](https://www.claretandhugh.info/discussion-over-only-one-ending-to-this-irons-saga/) claimed that the Irons could be set to incur a substantial loss should they sell both [Felipe Anderson](https://readwestham.com/2020/08/03/felipe-anderson-currently-in-rome-for-lazio-talks/) and [Sebastien Haller](https://readwestham.com/2020/12/05/readwestham-com-2020-12-04-moyes-counting-on-haller-united-clash/).

Both players arrived in east London for substantial fees, [Anderson from Lazio for an initial £33.5m](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/jul/15/west-ham-sign-felipe-anderson-in-club-record-deal-from-lazio)and [Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt for a club record £45m](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49017405) – but their futures in the capital now look rather uncertain under David Moyes.

The Brazilian winger is currently [struggling to make an impact on loan at FC Porto](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/felipe-anderson/leistungsdaten/spieler/159372), while the 26-year-old striker has [failed to hold down a regular place](https://www.premierleague.com/players/49761/S%C3%A9bastien-Haller/overview) in the team since his arrival 18 months ago.

Last season, the attacking pair amassed [57 Premier League outings combined](https://www.premierleague.com/stats/player-comparison) and contributed towards just 13 goals between them.

With an [expenditure of nearly £80m](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/west-ham-united/transfers/verein/379/plus/0?saison_id=2018&pos=&detailpos=&w_s=) on the two players, it seems unlikely even half of that amount would be recouped if a decision was made to cut their losses in a bitter blow for the owners.

According to [Claret & Hugh](https://www.claretandhugh.info/discussion-over-only-one-ending-to-this-irons-saga/), West Ham “look certain to lose a load of dough on Haller and of course Anderson should he finally be sold but they look to me as if they are gonna have to swallow it”.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

If the Irons are going to make waves in the transfer market moving forwards, some of the squad’s [deadwood will have to be moved on](https://www.football.london/west-ham-united-fc/transfer-news/three-west-ham-players-who-19287039) beforehand.

Unfortunately for Anderson, it seems his [ship as a Hammer may well have sailed](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/west-ham-felipe-anderson-transfer-22802070); and barring a remarkable transformation in form during his spell in Portugal, his permanent departure seems almost inevitable.

However, Haller definitely still has the chance to forge a crucial role for himself at the London Stadium. Having [scored the winner recently against Sheffield United](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-united-vs-west-ham-result-premier-league-2020-bramall-lane-b76515.html), it seemed the Ivorian was finally ready to come good after many false dawns.
