# West Ham Player Ratings: Sheffield United (A)

Sebastien Haller was the [West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2020/11/21/west-ham-morning-news-round-up-21st-november-2020/) hero as David Moyes’ side made it back-to-back 1-0 victories either side of the international break with a [hard-fought triumph over Sheffield United](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8969977/Sheffield-United-vs-West-Ham-Premier-League-Live-result.html) on Sunday afternoon.

[Unchanged from the 1-0 win over Fulham](https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2020/november/22-november/team-news-hammers-unchanged-blades-test) at London Stadium a fortnight ago, the Hammers perhaps had the better of a tight first half consisting of few clearcut chances.

The second half began much in the same vein before Haller, who continued to deputise in the[absence of Michail Antonio](https://talksport.com/football/781480/west-ham-injury-blow-michail-antonio-hamstring-injury-liverpool/), let fly from the edge of the area after a Pablo Fornals shot was blocked.

The [newly-capped Ivory Coast striker](https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2020/november/17-november/sebastien-haller-starts-ivory-coast-edge-closer-africa-cup) saw his effort whistle into the top right-hand corner via the hand of Blades goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who couldn’t keep it out.

Moyes’ men saw out the game with little fuss as the manager’s new-look system and backline continued to pay dividends as the Irons moved up the [table into eighth](https://www.premierleague.com/tables) with another clean sheet.

Here’s how we rated the West Ham players…
