# Fans React To Declan Rice’s Performance v Sheffield United

Many [West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2020/11/23/west-ham-player-ratings-sheffield-united-away/) fans have praised the performance of [Declan Rice](https://readwestham.com/2020/11/19/mcavennie-lewis-ferguson-declan-rice-replacement-west-ham/) as the 21-year-old midfielder put in another stellar display against Sheffield United.

Rice was [inspirational in the heart of the midfield yet again](https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/sebastien-haller-lands-the-killer-blow-for-west-ham-as-sheffield-uniteds-home-discomforts-continue-kbcts3f56) for the Hammers, who were at their resilient best once again in a [narrow 1-0 victory](https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2020/november/23-november/extended-highlights-sheffield-united-0-1-west-ham-united) at Bramall Lane.

Another full game for the England man means he [still hasn’t missed a single minute](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/declan-rice/leistungsdaten/spieler/357662) of action in the Premier League for David Moyes’ side this season, underlining his importance to the team.

[Club captain Mark Noble](https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2015/september/14-september/noble-named-club-captain) came on for the dying moments of the match but did not take the armband off Rice, opting to let [his understudy](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/declan-rice-england-west-ham-23011277) see out the job he had started as a leader.

Rice was voted Man of the Match via a poll on the club’s official [Twitter](https://twitter.com/WestHam/status/1330576781334568960) channel ahead of match-winner Sebastien Haller and plenty of Irons fans had their say on their midfielder’s performance…
