# West Ham Fans React To Aaron Cresswell Interview

West Ham defender [Aaron Cresswell](https://readwestham.com/2020/11/05/aaron-cresswell-new-role-david-moyes-west-ham/) spoke to the [club’s official website](https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2020/november/04-november/aaron-cresswell-im-loving-my-new-role-side) this week and stated he is ‘loving’ his new role as a left-sided centre-back this season.

The 30-year-old has [been with the Hammers for six years,](https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2019/july/03-july/day-aaron-cresswell-signs-west-ham-united) most of which has been spent [operating as a conventional left-back](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aaron-cresswell/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/92571/verein/379).

Recently, David Moyes has opted for a [3-4-3 formation](https://www.skysports.com/football/liverpool-vs-west-ham/teams/428901) and the Liverpool-born defender has adapted well to his new position, with Arthur Masuaku outside him as a more conventional wing-back.

The former Tranmere Rovers and Ipswich Town man has played [almost 200 Premier League matches](https://www.premierleague.com/players/8897/Aaron-Cresswell/stats) for the Irons, being on the pitch for [every minute in the league](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aaron-cresswell/leistungsdaten/spieler/92571) so far this term.

These West Ham fans have been reacting to the comments from the “reborn” defender, who had [come under fire at times](https://www.footballfancast.com/west-ham-united-news/west-ham-aaron-cresswell-newcastle-premier-league-match-reaction-fans-react-twitter) in recent months…
