West Ham have had a bid rejected for Sporting Lisbon winger Jovane Cabral, as per a report from Portuguese outlet A Bola.
The highly-rated Cape Verde international scored six goals and created two during 2019/20 and has made four appearances across league and cup competitions in the early stages of the 2020/21 campaign.
The Portuguese Primeira Liga side are believed to want £23 million for the Cape Verde winger so it remains to be seen whether the two parties can reach an agreement.

It seems as though the asking price for Cabral and the amount the Hammers have been seemingly willing to offer aren’t too far apart so it would be fair to assume a compromise could possibly be reached.
David Moyes’ interest in the skilful 22-year-old has come as a bit of a surprise as most of the previous noise coming out of the London Stadium has been about the need for defensive reinforcements.
As Moyes looks to add to his options in the hope of a more comfortable campaign next season, the addition of an attacking option in Cabral could be a bonus but his arrival could also spell the end for a few of the current Hammers players.
