In May 2016, West Ham United waved goodbye to Upton Park in spectacular fashion, but where are the players from that squad now?

The Hammers defeated Manchester United 3-2 in a pulsating encounter, with Winston Reid scoring the winning goal with ten minutes remaining in the match.

Slaven Bilic’s side secured a seventh-placed finish that season, but where are the players from that team now?

We’ve had a look below.

Darren Randolph – Still at West Ham

Randolph left for Middlesbrough but in the January transfer window this season, he made his return to the Hammers and is the current backup to Lukasz Fabianski.

Michail Antonio – Still at West Ham

Antonio had a much different role back then as he operated at right-back. He’s now a striker who can also play on the wing.

Angelo Ogbonna – Still at West Ham

Ogbonna is still a regular starter for the Hammers, forming a strong partnership with Issa Diop this season.

Winston Reid – On loan to Sporting Kansas City

In February, the Hammers loaned Reid to the MLS side as he looks to get back to fitness after missing almost two years with knee injuries.

Aaron Cresswell – Still at West Ham

He was the starting left-back then and is still the starting left-back now.

Cheikhou Kouyate – With Crystal Palace

Kouyate left the Hammers for Palace and is now a regular starter in the top-flight for the Eagles.

Mark Noble – Still at West Ham

Skipper then, skipper now. Noble now also has his own column in the Evening Standard newspaper.

Manuel Lanzini – Still at West Ham

Lanzini is still with the Hammers but fans don’t seem to be impressed with his displays this term. He’s lost his starting spot and seems to be a rotational player.

Dimitri Payet – With Marseille

The magician. The X-factor in that Bilic side. Payet now plays in Ligue 1 with Marseille after being sold for £25m.

Diafra Sakho – Without a club

Sakho is a free agent after having his contract terminated by Rennes in December. He’s still looking for a club.

Andy Carroll – With Newcastle United

Carroll is back at Newcastle but still has plenty of injury problems.

James Tomkins – With Crystal Palace

Like Kouyate, Tomkins made the move to Palace, where he is a regular starter when fit.

Enner Valencia – With Tigres

Valencia is back in the Mexican Liga MX and has played 29 times for them this season.

Pedro Obiang – With Sassuolo

The 28-year-old is a key figure for the Serie A side, featuring 23 times in all competitions this season.

James Collins – Without a club

Collins a currently a free agent, with his most recent club being Ipswich Town. The defender has his own football academy and occasionally works as a pundit.

Victor Moses – At Inter Milan (On loan from Chelsea)

Moses joined the Serie A side in January as he struggled to make an impact at Chelsea. The Italian club have the option to make his move permanent at the end of the season.

Emmanuel Emenike – Without a club

The striker is currently a free agent, playing last for Belgian club Westerlo. He’s very active on Instagram, showing off his lavish lifestyle to his thousands of followers.

Raphael Spiegel – With Winterthur

Goalkeeper Spiegel currently plays in the Swiss Challenge League, the second tier of Swiss football.
