West Ham fans are excited for when football returns

All football in the country has been suspended until the end of April and these West Ham fans are clearly excited for when it finally returns.

The Hammers were scheduled to take on Wolves at the London Stadium when the decision was made to suspend all Premier League fixtures until early April.

That suspension was then extended further (BBC Sport) and lots of Hammers fans can’t wait to taste the atmosphere at the London Stadium again.

The club is currently involved in a tense relegation battle, only out of the drop zone on goal difference.

The Hammers have shown some encouraging signs in recent matches, defeating Southampton 3-1 before playing very well against Arsenal.

David Moyes’ men had some glorious chances at the Emirates but failed to convert, before conceding late on to lose the match.

One West Ham fans posted a tweet asking the rest of the fanbase to imagine that moment when they finally return to the stadium with their friends and family, and lots of them showed their excitement.
