# Hammers fans want Lanzini to leave the club

David Moyes has [reportedly](https://www.football.london/west-ham-united-fc/players/ajeti-lanzini-fornals-winners-losers-17958814) lost his patience with Manuel Lanzini and many West Ham United fans feel it is time for the playmaker to leave the club.

Lanzini has failed to score a single goal so far this season and has recently lost his place in the starting XI ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manuel-lanzini/leistungsdaten/spieler/135853)) to summer arrival Pablo Fornals, who joined the Hammers from Spanish La Liga side Villarreal ([BBC Sport](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48636017)).

Fornals has been playing well recently, providing [two assists](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51595061) during the 3-1 victory over Southampton, meaning Lanzini has had to settle for a place on the bench.

Lanzini has provided some great moments over the years for the London club but after some [injury problems](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manuel-lanzini/verletzungen/spieler/135853), his confidence seems to be shattered.

The Argentine has failed to make the most of the opportunities given to him in the team this term and many Hammers fans [on Twitter](https://twitter.com/whufc_news/status/1241520360631263232?s=09) feel that the time has come for the attacking midfielder to say his goodbyes.
