Hammers fans want Wilshere to be offloaded this summer

Jack Wilshere is still contracted at West Ham but many Hammers fans want that to change this summer.

The midfielder, who joined the Hammers from London rivals Arsenal, has endured another injury-riddled season.

The Englishman has featured just eight times this season as his injury woes continue and many of the club’s fans have had enough and want him to be sold.

As stated on Football Insider, the central midfielder has been out of action since mid-October and recently had a hernia operation, extending his time on the sidelines.

The 28-year-old has missed 21 matches this season and despite this, he is one of the club’s highest-paid players.

According to data website Spotrac, the central midfielder earns £100,000 a week with the Hammers, more than first-team players like Issa Diop and Lukasz Fabianski.

These Hammers fans on Twitter seem to have had enough of Wilshere and want to see him leave the club.
