Hammers fans have fond memories of Sinclair and Di Canio partnership

Two iconic West Ham United stars reunited on talkSPORT this week and many Hammers fans loved it.

Trevor Sinclair and Paulo Di Canio, arguably two of West Ham’s best-ever Premier League players, spoke together on the talk show.

Italian star Di Canio netted 51 times in all competitions for the Hammers, whilst also providing 14 assists and possibly the greatest goal in West Ham’s history, which was assisted by Sinclair (Transfermarkt).

Every West Ham fan will know about his famous volley against AFC Wimbledon, a goal which he himself termed as “perfect”, as quoted on the official club’s website.

As for Sinclair, he made 194 appearances for the Hammers, scoring 38 times and providing 18 assists, with many being for his Italian teammate (Transfermarkt).

Many fans on Twitter have reacted to Sinclair’s tweet about Di Canio joining him on a call from Italy, with some of them remembering the good old days when the two used to play together for the London club, especially that famous goal.
