West Ham United captain Mark Noble has sent a message to the club’s fans and they absolutely loved it.
All elite football in the country is currently suspended (BBC Sport) and Noble made it clear that health comes before football.
The skipper said that he stands by the decision to suspend all football and has urged fans to look after each other and make sure that they’re following the guidelines set by the government at all times.
Noble has recently been the subject of plenty of criticism from Hammers fans, with many of them not pleased with some of his performances.
The 32-year-old defensive midfielder has scored four goals in the Premier League this season in 26 appearances, missing just three league encounters this term (Transfermarkt).
Some have even called for the captain to be dropped to the bench by manager David Moyes but after his message, many fans on Twitter were quick to praise the midfielder.
