# West Ham fans are clearly missing Slaven Bilic

One [West Ham United account on Twitter](https://twitter.com/WestHamClips/status/1239629749498122241) posted a compilation video of Slaven Bilic shrugging when meeting rival managers at full-time and many Hammers fans have got emotional about it.

In June 2015, the Hammers [appointed Bilic](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/33062196) as the club’s manager, replacing Sam Allardyce, who left the club by mutual consent.

Bilic signed a three-year deal and returned to the club who he played 54 times for between 1996 and 1997 ([BBC Sport](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/33062196)).

In November 2017, Bilic was sacked by the London-based side after winning only two of their opening 11 Premier League matches ([Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11685/11116061/slaven-bilic-sacked-by-west-ham-after-poor-start-to-premier-league-season)).

The Hammers went on to appoint David Moyes and then Manuel Pellegrini, with Moyes[returning again](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50942538) this season.

The Croatian is now in charge of Championship side West Bromwich Albion and is close to guiding them back to the Premier League.

Bilic’s side currently sit [second in the league table,](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/table)behind Leeds United.

Some fans [on Twitter](https://twitter.com/WestHamClips/status/1239629749498122241) wouldn’t mind seeing him back at the Hammers and many others clearly miss him.
