# Left-backs West Ham could sign this summer

West Ham United left-back Aaron Cresswell isn’t the most popular player amongst the club’s supporters at the moment.

The 30-year-old has been the subject of [heavy criticism from fans](https://readwestham.com/2020/03/09/west-ham-fans-are-not-pleased-with-cresswell-after-arsenal-defeat/) for his recent displays for the club.

The Englishman has found the back of the net [three times](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aaron-cresswell/leistungsdaten/spieler/92571) in the Premier League this season but has [failed to register](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aaron-cresswell/leistungsdaten/spieler/92571) an assist.

Additionally, Cresswell has the joint second-worst cross completion rate in the top flight this season, level with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The left-back has only [completed 13.9%](https://twitter.com/Squawka/status/1238864067160412160) of his deliveries this season, which we feel simply is not good enough.

Despite playing every single Premier League minute since David Moyes took over at the end of 2019 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aaron-cresswell/leistungsdaten/spieler/92571)), we feel that there may be a few better options available for the Hammers at left-back this summer.

Below, we’ve listed a few left-backs who we feel the Hammers should look at to replace the ageing Cresswell.
