# Hammers fans slam Cresswell for his poor cross success rate

West Ham full-back Aaron Cresswell has one of the Premier League’s worst cross success rate and many of the club’s fans have criticised him for it.

The Englishman has the second-lowest cross success percentage in the top-flight, level with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold [with 13.9%.](https://twitter.com/Squawka/status/1238864067160412160)

[Squawka](https://twitter.com/Squawka/status/1238864067160412160) revealed the statistics on Twitter and many West Ham fans were quick to hit out at the 30-year-old.

Despite his poor crossing record, the defender has played every single Premier League minute in 2020 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aaron-cresswell/leistungsdaten/spieler/92571)), helping the team to [escape the relegation zone](https://www.premierleague.com/tables) on goal difference.

Despite registering no assists in the league yet this season, Cresswell has managed to find the [back of the net three times](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aaron-cresswell/leistungsdaten/spieler/92571), including goals against [Manchester United](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49705145) and [Chelsea.](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50526606)

This shows that the left-back tries to get forward as much as possible to help out the team in attack, but he may need more bodies in the penalty box to meet his deliveries.

These fans [on Twitter](https://twitter.com/westhamtransfer/status/1238923651900215297) showed little sympathy towards him.
