West Ham United defender is reportedly wanted by Premier League rivals Arsenal and many of the club’s fans have issued a warning to the Gunners.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta believes that Diop could solve his side’s defensive woes.
The Frenchman has been a key figure for the Hammers since joining the club in 2018 from French side Toulouse.
He’s cemented a starting role under David Moyes, playing well alongside Angelo Ogbonna in centre-back.
Diop was wanted by numerous clubs last summer but the Hammers made it clear that they were not ready to sell one of their star players.
The same may be needed again this summer with Arsenal keeping a close eye on the defender’s situation.
Many West Ham fans want Arsenal to look elsewhere or to pay a huge fee for his signature.
These fans took to Twitter to react to the news and had some transfer messages for the Gunners.
