West Ham United playmaker Manuel Lanzini is in a dreadful run of form and may struggle to win his place back in the team.

The Argentine has failed to score a single goal so far this season ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manuel-lanzini/leistungsdaten/spieler/135853)) and has lost his starting spot to Pablo Fornals, who arrived at the club [last summer](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48636017) from Villarreal.

Lanzini has provided [three assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manuel-lanzini/leistungsdaten/spieler/135853) this term but [many fans](https://readwestham.com/2020/03/03/these-west-ham-fans-want-their-club-to-sell-manuel-lanzini-this-summer/) have not been impressed with his overall contribution this season, with some wanting him to [be sold](https://readwestham.com/2020/03/03/these-west-ham-fans-want-their-club-to-sell-manuel-lanzini-this-summer/) by the club at the end of the campaign.

He’s had his fair share of [injury woes](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manuel-lanzini/verletzungen/spieler/135853) in recent seasons which could be playing a part in his poor form but if the Hammers do decide to cash in on him, they’ll need to identify some adequate replacements.

Below, we’ve listed a few potential players that the club could target to replace Lanzini if he moves on in the summer.
