# West Ham fans backing Haller to come good for the Hammers soon

Sebastien Haller has netted seven times in all competitions this season for West Ham United ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/sebastien-haller/leistungsdaten/spieler/181375/plus/0?saison=2019)) and many of the club’s fans are backing him to keep on improving.

The striker joined the London club last summer for £45m from Eintracht Frankfurt ([BBC Sport](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49017405)), however, he hasn’t really hit the heights that were expected from him.

The Frenchman scored[20 times](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/sebastien-haller/leistungsdaten/spieler/181375/plus/0?saison=2018) in all competitions for the Bundesliga club last season before joining the Hammers, and many fans feel he can still be a success at the club.

The centre-forward leads the Premier League in terms of aerial battles won, [winning 206](https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top/players/aerial_won) in the league so far this term.

The striker seems to be thriving with a partner up front, playing very well in his last two matches alongside Michail Antonio.

Haller missed some good opportunities against Arsenal during the[1-0 defeat](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51685402)at the Emirates Stadium last weekend but many fans on Twitter believe that with time and service, he will come good for the club.
