# West Ham fans want the club to sign Soucek permanently

West Ham United completed the [loan signing](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51285153) of Tomas Soucek in January and many of the club’s fans want him to be signed on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

The central midfielder, who arrived from Slavia Prague, has put in some decent displays since making the move to London. However, the Hammers are yet to win a league match in which the 25-year-old has featured in ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tomas-soucek/leistungsdaten/spieler/283628)).

When completing the loan deal, the Hammers made sure they included an option to buy him in the contract and according to [BBC Sport,](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51285153) he will be available to purchase for around £13m in the summer.

However, the Hammers are currently [at risk of being relegated](https://www.premierleague.com/tables) to the Championship, which could affect whether they decide to sign him permanently or not.

[As reported by football.london](https://www.football.london/west-ham-united-fc/players/unthinkable-west-ham-midfield-conundrum-17895540), Soucek has made it clear that he wants to join the club on a full-time basis and because of this desire and passion for the Hammers, many fans [on Twitter](https://twitter.com/whufc_news/status/1237474109413523458) want the club to sign him, even if they get relegated.
