West Ham fans angry with Moyes for taking Bowen off

Jarrod Bowen was withdrawn by West Ham boss David Moyes in the 89th minute of last Saturday’s Premier League clash with Arsenal and many of the club’s fans couldn’t understand the decision.

Bowen was one of West Ham’s dangermen throughout the encounter, striking the post early in the first half with a long-range strike.

The January arrival, who scored on his first league start for the club against Southampton, had an effective game at both ends of the pitch for the Hammers.

He had three shots and made one key pass whilst also making one tackle and four interceptions (WhoScored), proving his effectiveness on the right flank.

Bowen was replaced with one minute of normal time remaining at the Emirates by Robert Snodgrass and several fans feel that Moyes made the wrong decision to bring him off the pitch.
