West Ham fans want the club to try and sign Jamal Lewis

Jamal Lewis scored the winner for Norwich City during last Friday’s top-flight clash with Leicester City and many West Ham fans want the Hammers to try and sign him.

Lewis scored a spectacular half-volley to hand the Canaries an important victory in their quest to avoid relegation back to the Championship.

Some West Ham fans are concerned about the club’s quality at left-back and they have identified Lewis as a potential target, feeling that he would be a good addition to the squad.

The 22-year-old has made 20 appearances in all competitions for Norwich this season and his current contract with the club runs until the end of June 2023.

The Northern Ireland international is valued at £10.8m by Transfermarkt and we feel that much could depend on if the clubs survive or get relegated from the top-flight.

Lewis played the entire 90 minutes at the London Stadium earlier this season as the Hammers won 2-0 at the end of August.

These fans on Twitter feel he could be a good player to target.
