Hammers fans remind the club to praise Fornals

West Ham United, via their official Twitter account praised Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen and Sebastien Haller but many fans have reminded the club to also appreciate Pablo Fornals.

The Spanish international provided two assists during the 3-1 victory over Southampton in the Premier League clash last Saturday.

Fornals, who joined the Hammers from Villarreal last summer, has hit a decent run of form at a seemingly perfect time for the club.

The midfielder, who also scored during last week’s defeat to Liverpool at Anfield, was heavily involved for the Hammers at the London Stadium against Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side, having 43 touches and playing 28 passes, the third most in the team (WhoScored).

Although Antonio, Bowen and Haller were the goalscorers, many of the club’s fans on Twitter feel that Fornals deserves more appreciation after his display, which helped the club move out of the relegation places.

Here’s what a few of them had to say about the former Malaga and Villarreal star.
