West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice was one of the standout performers for the Hammers during the 3-1 victory over Southampton last Saturday and the club’s fans don’t want to see him ever leave the club.
Goals from Jarrod Bowen, Sebastien Haller and Michail Antonio secured a precious three points for David Moyes’ side, who are now out of the relegation zone on goal difference.
As stated on WhoScored, Rice played one key pass, made five clearances, three interceptions and three tackles against Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side.
The Englishman has shown his ability to affect matches at both ends of the pitch, shown by his assist against Liverpool last week at Anfield.
Rice started the match alongside experienced midfielder and club captain Mark Noble and following the win, Rice expressed his delight at playing 100 times for the London club.
The youngster also thanked the fans for their continuous support over the last three years and has urged them to keep backing the team till the end.
After seeing his performance, these fans on Twitter don’t ever want to see him leave the club.
