Pablo Fornals was handed a rare start by manager David Moyes last Saturday against Southampton and many fans have praised the impact he had on the team.
The playmaker repaid the manager’s faith by providing two assists during the 3-1 victory at the London Stadium.
Fornals was a crucial link between the midfield and attack, proven by the fact that he played two key passes and had two shots on goal during the victory (WhoScored).
As reported on BBC Sport, the Hammers signed Fornals last summer for £24m from Spanish La Liga side Villarreal on a five-year deal.
However, he has struggled for starts under Moyes, being named in the starting XI in just one of the last seven league matches before the clash with Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side (Transfermarkt).
After his latest display, we feel he could retain his place for the next couple of matches and many of the club’s fans couldn’t help but praise him for his great performance.
These fans took to Twitter to show their appreciation for the Spaniard.
