# West Ham targets Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne could leave Liverpool

Liverpool’s Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne could potentially both leave the leave the club this summer, according to the[Liverpool Echo,](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/seven-players-trying-convince-jurgen-17825656) opening the door to potential moves to West Ham.

[Clyne](https://readwestham.com/2020/01/14/west-ham-urged-to-pursue-deal-for-clyne/) and [Lallana](https://readwestham.com/2020/02/07/west-ham-keeping-tabs-on-liverpools-adam-lallana/) have previously been linked with switches to the Hammers, with the Irons keeping tabs on the pair during the January window.

[Both players are out of contract](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-lallana/profil/spieler/43530) at Anfield this summer, meaning they would be free to explore a move to a club of their choosing without having to deal with transfer fees.

The Hammers could potentially secure two bargain transfers if they were to bring [Lallana](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-lallana/detaillierteleistungsdaten/spieler/43530) and [Clyne](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/nathaniel-clyne/detaillierteleistungsdaten/spieler/85177) to the club, with the Irons being able to bring them both in for nothing.

Clyne could potentially offer both quality and depth in the full-back position, something the Hammers have missed a lot this season. Injuries to Ryan Fredericks has seen Pablo Zabaleta forced into the Hammers team of late and having a player like Clyne could be a huge improvement, [especially due to Zabaleta’s age](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/pablo-zabaleta/profil/spieler/20007).

Meanwhile, Lallana could offer Moyes a useful option in midfield, with the former England international [being a very versatile player](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/21683/Show/Adam-Lallana), comfortable out wide or centrally. Jack Wilshere has been [injured](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jack-wilshere/verletzungen/spieler/74223) a lot this season, meaning that West Ham have lacked depth in midfield throughout the campaign.
