West Ham fans react as Jonathan Calleri scores Europa League hat-trick

West Ham fans were given a surprise on Thursday evening, with many seeing that ex-Hammers forward Johnathan Calleri grabbed a hat-trick against Wolves in the Europa League.

Wolves went into the clash with a 4-0 lead from the first leg, meaning that the clash was basically already decided before the game kicked off in Barcelona.

However, the Argentine forward scored three goals against the Black Country side, almost turning the tie around for Espanyol but for two Wolves goals.

The game ended 3-2 on the night, with Wolves making it through to the last 16 of the Europa League.

Calleri previously had a spell on loan at West Ham, which saw him play 19 times and only score once as he flopped in an Irons shirt.

Several West Ham fans took to Twitter to voice their opinions on the matter, with many shocked that Calleri was able to fire the goals in for Espanyol after his spell with the Hammers.
