West Ham fans call for Mark Noble to be stripped of the captaincy

Some West Ham fans have called for their club’s current skipper Mark Noble to be dropped after his run of poor form.

Noble remains the West Ham skipper despite being part of the clubs a poor run of results that have seen the Hammers drop into the bottom three.

David Moyes’ side are without a win since New Years Day, and face a tough fixture list with trips to Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea coming up for the Hammers.

Several fans criticised the play of the West Ham team on Wednesday night, with several believing that the team didn’t even try to secure a result at the Etihad, saying that they had already lost before they set off to travel to Manchester.

However, some have taken aim at Mark Noble, calling for the veteran Hammers midfielder to be dropped and stripped of the captaincy, with some calling for Declan Rice to be handed the armband.
