New West Brom signing Kamil Grosicki has revealed that he once almost came close to joining West Ham, as per Sport.PL.
Grosicki swapped Hull City for the Baggies on deadline day, boosting the ranks of table-topping Albion.
However, speaking to Sport.PL, Grosicki revealed that former West Ham boss Slaven Bilic almost signed the Pole when he was in charge at the London Stadium.
Grosicki said:
Slaven Bilic was looking for such a player. He had me in his notebook for a long time.
After EURO 2012, he wanted to bring me Moscow to Lokomotiv, where he became a coach after parting with the Croatian team.
Then there was a topic when he was at West Ham, but I didn’t get to London. In the end, we managed to meet after eight years of stalking!

The midfielder was at Hull for a couple of seasons before joining West Brom and he did impress during the Tigers spell in the top flight.
Grosicki won the Player of the Month award just months into his spell at the Tigers and racked up five assists during his Premier League stay.
We can now only speculate what Grosicki would have brought to the Hammers, but his 26 goals and 27 assists whilst at Hull show that he was a superb attacking midfielder, being a key player in both providing and scoring goals.
