West Ham flop Roberto is being linked with a permanent move to Spanish side Alaves, according to reports from Gasteizhoy.
The goalkeeper is currently on loan at the Spanish side after a dismal spell with West Ham that saw him concede, on average, more than a goal a game as per Transfermarkt.
Roberto faced criticism from a lot of fans and pundits alike, with many blaming the goalkeeper for West Ham’s poor run of form that saw them slide down the Premier League table.
Now, according to reports from Spain, Roberto could be moving to Alaves on a permanent deal, with Alaves sporting director Sergio Fernandez revealing how pleased he has been with the goalkeeper and that he is already hopeful of a signing the player this summer. All this has happened without Roberto even making his debut for the club.
Several West Ham fans reacted to the news, with many being very happy about the potential permanent departure of Roberto.
