David Moyes has revealed in his pre-match press conference that Winston Reid’s move to Major League Soccer side Nashville SC is off, as per Football.London.
The defender had been reportedly set to depart West Ham and join the newly founded MLS franchise, but no move has yet happened, with Reid remaining with West Ham for now.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of the clash with Manchester City, Moyes revealed that the player is fit and training but that he could potentially still leave the club.
Winston is still here, still training. He’s working towards possibly going to America but we’ve not had that confirmed yet. The club he was due to go to is off but there could be something else for him.

Reid’s time at West Ham looks to be over, with the defender yet to make an appearance for the Irons this season.
His last game was in March 2018, so a deal for Reid to leave the club will probably be the best move for all parties with the New Zealander looking very unlikely to appear for West Ham again.
From what Moyes is saying, it does potentially sound like Reid could have a new destination lined up.
However, he does have a lot of experience and could have been a good addition to the current West Ham defence that has struggled so far this season, conceding the fourth-most goals in the entire division.
Despite this, he hasn’t played a game of football in almost two years, so throwing him into an already leaky defence is probably not the greatest idea.
The Hammers could do without the issue of bringing in a player like Reid, who won’t have match fitness, especially with the Hammers run of games coming up, with matches against Liverpool, Manchester City and Southampton all upcoming.
