West Ham United are waiting for responses to two bids made for full-backs Rasmus Kristensen and Joakim Maehle, according to a report on Football Insider.
David Moyes is desperate to sign a right-back and despite suggestions that their offer for Kristensen has been rejected by RB Leipzig, Football Insider sources reveal that the deal is ‘still on the table’.
Genk right back Maehle has also been monitored by Southampton but West Ham are still waiting for a response from the Belgian club regarding their bid for him.
READ WEST HAM VERDICT
The Hammers have already confirmed the arrival of midfielder Tomas Soucek on loan until the end of the season, with the option to sign him on a permanent basis after the loan expires.
However, with Ryan Fredericks injured and Pablo Zabaleta ageing, Moyes is searching the market for a new right-back.
We believe both these players would be great additions to the squad because both of them have good experience as both played in the UEFA Champions League this season.
However, we believe that they shouldn’t be expected to make the move because they would be leaving teams that compete in Europe for West Ham, who are in the thick of a relegation battle.
