West Ham fans furious that Lanzini started over Fornals

West Ham United manager David Moyes opted to start Manuel Lanzini again over Pablo Fornals, and it was not a popular decision amongst the fans.

Lanzini has been given a run of starts under Moyes, whilst Fornals has had to settle for a place on the bench.

The Hammers went on to lose the match 2-0 after goals from Mohamed Salah and Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain.

The fans were angry with Lanzini last week after his poor performance against Leicester City and some can’t understand why the Argentine keeps being selected to start.

The 26-year-old has made 17 top-flight appearances so far this season but is yet to find the net. However,  he has managed to register three assists (Transfermarkt).

Fornals joined the Hammers for £24m last summer and has 23 league appearances, with ten of those coming from the bench.

These fans took to Twitter to vent their frustrations at Moyes and Lanzini.
