West Ham fans react as the club submits offer for Matty Cash

West Ham United have submitted a £10m offer for Nottingham Forest right-back Matty Cash, according to a report on Sky Sports.

The report confirms that the deal will rise up to £12m after add ons, but the Hammers are facing competition from Southampton and Italian giants AC Milan.

The Serie A club have already put together a deal worth £15m, according to The Athletic’s Daniel Taylor.

The 22-year-old has made 27 league appearances so far this season for Nottingham Forest and has got his name on the scoresheet twice, whilst also providing four assists (Transfermarkt).

The Hammers are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of a relegation battle and need some reinforcement in the right-back spot, with Ryan Fredericks still a few weeks away from returning from injury.

Pablo Zabaleta has filled in for the moment but the ageing full-back will need some of the load taken off his back – which is why the Hammers are targeting Cash.

With Milan already offering £15m, these West Ham fans are confused and disappointed at the lower offer made by the Hammers.
