West Ham United manager David Moyes has expressed his delight that goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is only sidelined for a couple of weeks.
The shot-stopper went down early in the first half of last week’s Premier League encounter with Sheffield United as he hurt his hip after attempting a goal kick.

However, after further scans on the injury, the club confirmed that there was no major damage and that he should be back onto the pitch in a few weeks.
As quoted on Football London, Moyes said:
It’s great news to find out that he’s only out for a few weeks.

Understandably, West Ham fans were distraught after the goalkeeper limped off the field last week but this certainly is a boost for the club.
Why? Because he is one of the best shot-stoppers in the Premier League, proven by the fact that he made the most saves (148) in the entire top-flight in the 2018/19 season.
The Hammers have recruited former goalkeeper Darren Randolph from Middlesbrough as some extra cover, but we feel that when Fabianski is back and at his best, nobody can take the number one position from him.
